Since 2010, WUZDA Ghana has through the Sanitation Support Credit Module, constructed a total of 2,500 household and institutional latrines and water facilities across the northern region of Ghana.
This module provides opportunity for households that cannot afford latrines because of cost, to access them at considerably lower rates and preferences, through a credit system that allows them to make monthly payments for up to 12 months.
The latrines are in varieties for households, based on financial capacities, the number of people in the household, and the geographical location.
WUZDA Ghana has trained and engaged artisans who are specialized in the construction of these varieties of latrines, with introduction of innovations and creativity from time to time, to meet the demand and specifications of clients.
If you need a latrine and do not have the money to make an upfront payment, WUZDA Ghana is here to help you, as it contributes to reducing sanitation – related diseases by helping end open defecation.
We also provide households, institutions and communities with water systems and water storage facilities through this module.
