Seeds of partnership, Harvest of hope.

As the first light of the Year 2026 rises, the WUZDA Ghana family pauses not to look back with regret, but to look back with gratitude.

The year 2025 was a journey shaped by shared effort, resilience, and hope. In communities where challenges are real and resources are limited, we witnessed something powerful: The Strength of Partnership. Farmers who believed in change, community leaders who opened doors, partners who stood firmly beside us, and supporters who trusted our vision each played a vital role in the story of WUZDA Ghana.

Together, we planted seeds far beyond the soil. We planted trust. We planted accountability. We planted empowerment. And through our shared commitment to community development, those seeds began to grow.

As we step into this new beginning, WUZDA Ghana does so with a renewed sense of togetherness. We recognize that no progress is achieved alone. Every milestone reached was the result of collaboration, dialogue, and mutual respect. For this, we extend our gratitude to Breadfor the World (Brot), our strategic partner on the Farm – Promoting Urban Organic Waste for Food and Livelihood Initiatives Project. Through this project, we are assisting 283 farmers in cultivating organic vegetables using drip irrigation technology in the 10 communities that have benefited from the project.

The 2025 harvesting period across the 10 communities was so high and encouraging. Farmers readily consume some of their harvest, improving the level of nutrition of the farmers and their households. This brings joy to the faces of the farmers because their needs were met, and also income to support their children to pay school fees.

The introduction of solar systems to some of the communities recorded a low cost of production, while those who are still using the gasoline pump machine recorded a higher cost of production. Moving forward, WUZDA Ghana would like to have a partner who will support the other communities to enhance productivity.

 The 2026 brings fresh opportunities and renewed purpose. It invites us to strengthen our bonds, deepen our impact, and continue working hand in hand to improve livelihoods, amplify community voices, and build sustainable futures. With unity as our foundation, we are confident that the road ahead, though not without challenges, will be filled with promise.

As we begin this new chapter, let us walk forward together, guided by shared values, inspired by collective action, and committed to making lasting change in the lives of the vulnerable.
